Thirteen members met in the Visitors Centre.  The weather was quite clear and bright so the birds were very easy to see.

Birds seen:  black-headed gull, blue tit, coot, cormorant, goldeneye, great tit, herring gull, lapwing, lesser black-backed gull, little grebe, long-tailed tit, magpie, mallard, mute swan, red-breasted merganser, robin, teal, tufted duck, wood pigeon, grey heron, greylag goose, Canada goose, moorhen, goosander.

Other: squirrel, willow catkins, candle-snuff fungus.
